Southern Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • ½ lb sausage
  • 3 T. flour of choice
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown sausage over medium heat.
  • Add flour and stir. You may add more fat or flour if needed.
  • Slowly whisk in your milk.
  • Raise heat a bit and bring to a soft bubble.
  • Add salt and pepper according to your taste.
  • If gravy gets too thick, add a bit more milk.
