Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream I prefer Daisy brand
  • tsp salt
  • tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dill dried
  • ¼ tsp thyme dried
  • tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Measure out 1 cup of sour cream into a small serving bowl.
  • Add the remainder of the spices.
  • Stir together thoroughly.
  • Taste and add more seasonings if needed according to your taste. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for later.

Notes

  • Every salt is a little different. I use Redmond real salt. If your dip seems too salty for your taste, add a little more sour cream. If it doesn't "pop" with a salty flavor, add a little more.
  • The dip is best served within the first couple of days but can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for a week.
  • Serve with chips, pretzels, pita, or any cut up vegetables.
