Slow cooker pork roast

  • 3-4 lb pork roast
  • 3 cloves garlic minced or pressed
  • 1 onion sliced or cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper or more to taste
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar


  1. Place pork roast in slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper.
  3. Add garlic on top along with the onions.
  4. Pour balsamic vinegar on top.
  5. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.

Recipe Notes

You can strain the liquid when finished cooking and boil it on the stove top until it is reduced by half and slightly thickened to make a sauce to pour on top. Feel free to add more salt and herbs of choice if desired.
